how to run basic report in Cisco Unified CM Administration

This was installed by a previous company and are replacing it with Teams, however, I need some BASIC reports out of it, which I cannot seem to find easily.  All I want to know if how many incoming calls we get to our main number for a date range.  I thought this would be pretty simple.  We are running System version: 10.5.2.10000-5.

You would need to look at the CDR data for this. There is no off the shelf reports for this in CM. In general the report capability in CM isn’t great.

If CDR/CAR was enabled you could use CDR or CAR reports, they're canned reports and cannot be adjusted/modified from what you see in the output for each one.

If CDR was not enabled, then there would be no information and you can enable it, and get data from that moment forward only.

Is there any easy way to check if CDR/CAR is enabled?

There are a couple of service parameters for this.
