Hello,
We are currently using CUCM version 7.1.5 in our environment. Today we got an below alert related to the media resource.
Number of times software conference bridge resources were unavailable for CCM: [sshon228] [SSOSN0137-Cluster] exceeded threshold
We have confgiured software conferences for all the CUCM servers.
Is there a way to find out if the error occured because the total number of participants count exceeded the max count i.e. 48 set in our case or due to the unavailability of media resource.
We also collected the callmanager logs for the said timing and we were getting the below logs:
|<CLID::StandAloneCluster><NID::172.25.6.22><CT::5,100,189,1.1686298><IP::10.144.110.25><DEV::><LVL::Detailed><MASK::0800>

This excerp from the logs do not show the details of what is needed to know how may resources were in use and if there was a resource allocation failure..You need to send the full CUCM SDI trace when a conference session is initiated. The trace usually contains how may sessions are active for a media resource and if there are any allocation failures. You can also use RTMT to see how many CFB sessions are active

The maximum stream showed that you have 48 participants configured. This has been used up. CUCM will not allocate another conference bridge for an existing conference. It will attempt to join participants into the existing conference, hence if there are no streams available to use, it returns the error you are getting.
