Hunt group to Mobile

Hi Folks,

I need to set up an emergency number that will ring a hunt group which will forward to a group of mobile phones. What I have done is, I have created a group of dummy users (softclients) and set up a call forward all/unregistered to the associated mobile number each DN.

For some reason, the call is not forwarding.  If I break down the different call legs, the incoming call comes in to the CUCM from the PTSN and hits the Hunt pilot number; which contains the group of DNs associated with the softclients.  The DNs are all set up to forward to different mobile numbers but the call is not forwarding.  I am wondering if it's because I am using the softphone ad the dummy devices rather than a different method.  Would I be better using another device to do the call forward?

Thanks in advance.

That is WAD, all call forwarding behavior is ignored if the call arrives via a hunt pilot. You need to use SNR.

Jaime,

Thanks for your reply.  A colleague of mine suggested I use SNR as well so I set it up using one of your YouTube videos so thanks very much for that (big thumbs up!).  SNR works with the hunt group but the recipients' phones only ring for once and then stops.  The other issue is voicemail.  If a member's mobile phone is off or in use, the call will go straight to voicemail, similarly if I set up the line group to broadcast, and one of the mobiles is off, the call will go to voicemail.  Is there a way to detect voicemail and hunt to the next member?  ...or is this beyond the capability of CUCM?

Thanks.

You have to adjust your SNR timers for that.

Hi Jaime,

I ended up doing exactly that and got the results I needed.  I extended the time delay timer to 5 seconds.

Thanks again.

Good day all,

I need your advice on the best way I can achieve the following objective.

I plan to use Yeaster TG 400 GSM to VoIP gateway to connect to my cucm so we can make gsm calls or pstn calls. The Gsm adapter has 4 channels which are equivalent to 4 sims.

I would like the customer to have one line number out of the 4 sims. So if a customer dials that line and it is busy, the call should move to the second sim and so on. The Yeastar  gsm gateway does not support call hunting feature. Is there another way to make this work? Is there a better device out there to make it work?

On the other side of the coin, can send me a link to Jamie's youtube on the single number reach (SNR)

Thanks in anticipation
