We have set up some hunt group and I'm trying to understand why some of our callers are getting busy signals. So here are some questions.
Hunt pilot - 1 hunt group with 1 line group with 10 lines, Broadcast ring.
Very simple.
Scenario 1, all 10 lines are in use, 11 caller gets what?
Scenario 2, 9 lines in use, caller 10 gets ring tone, caller 11 gets what?
Scenario 3, 5 lines in use, callers 6-10 call at same time and get what?, caller 11 gets what?
thanks,
Davidt

In all your use cases the 11:th call gets busy tone and all other calls get ring tone. You would need to enable call queueing on the hunt pilot to handle the 11:th+ call.

Be aware that a ringing phone counts as in use, so if the Busy Trigger is set to one then the phone will be Busy. So you could have a scenario where all phones are idle, but the second caller gets busy as all phones are already ringing for the previous caller.
Do you want your callers to receive busy when all phones are in use? We have one installation where that's a key requirement, and it gives some problems for hunt group design.
