In the below setup, is there any reason I could not configure a hunt pilot, line-group/hunt list for faxes coming off a VG224?
VG224 registers to UCM 6.1 as MGCP. Two faxes connected to vg224 (extension 4001 and 4002). Customer has 800 number that they want to router to 4001 and if fax 4001 is busy, route to fax 4002.
So I was just going to do a translation pattern directing 800 number to hunt pilot, then have both faxes 4001/4002 off VG225 as members of line group.
Any reason this won't work?
Thanks in advance

Hi Daniel,
Hope all is well buddy (75 degrees yesterday, BBQ's and "cold ones" :) I'm just thinking that a far easier method and one that will surely work would just to setup Call Forward Busy on 4001 to 4002. This is simple (just like me!)
Hope this helps!

Good to hear from you Rob. As always you come up with a quicker/better method. I'll take it every time lol. Glad to here your enjoying the "cold ones". The wife and I are going to enjoy a few today as well. With all this humidity, gotta have em. Maybe I can live half the year down here and the rest in Candada???
Have you been watching the Stanley Cup? Go Red Wings, looks like it's our year after all.
Regards,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
I thought it would be NASCAR for you folks! (just kidding!) You can't be Canadian without watching the Stanley Cup so you are halfway there :) Once the Flames lost out (again) I had to switch to cheering for someone else and I've always had a soft spot for the original six teams. I'll be cheering along with you buddy, just one more win!
Take care Daniel!
