Incoming calls still ringing after user hooks off theri IP phone

Hello community,

I have a problem with incoming calls in cucm, the issue is next, when I make a call from outside (PSTN) and my IP phone is anwered (internal), I can still hear the ring sound (PSTN) in my cell phone, I´ve inserted the "sh voice call st" command in my voice gateway and the codec is not established, so I think this cold be the main problem.

This happened after my client changed its VPN carrier, we had problems with MTU and we had to change all phone´s SIP security profile to UDP instead of TCP+UDP in order to solve this problem, MTU issue was solved but we still have the same problem only with CP 8865, we have CP 8841 but these are working fine only CP 8865 are shown this mistake.

So CP 8865 are working with SIP security profile in UDP mode.

We have CUCM 11.5

All incomings calls comes from an ayava PBX and then are sent to voice gateway and then to cucm.

I expect someone can help me with this.

Since the issue started after changing the VPN carrier the issue appears to be related to drop of signaling packets between CUCM and Avaya systems, wherein some part of the SIP/H323 signaling related to call is being dropped between the two systems, it is most likely from CUCM to Avaya side. You may check for any drops on the VPN routers and ensure that all the ports for SIP/H323 signaling are open in both directions.
