Incoming SIP calls ITSP have 2 second delay before audio cut-through

hi,

have ITSP-CUBE-CUCM (mtp required)- uccx agent

Incoming calls from ITSP have a slight 1-2 second before audio cut thru to uccx agent. External caller cannot hear our agents say "hello welcome to company xyz""

I believe this may be related to PRACK but i am not sure where I should enable it. On CUCM sip profile?

Hello,

To enable PRACK check this link:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/voice/session-initiation-protocol-sip/116086-configure-cube-cucm-sip-00.pdf

When you call to your IVR the PSTN user cannot hear the audio of IVR?

hi Leonardo,

thanks for the doc link.

Yes the users can eventually hear one other but there is like a 2 second delay from the time the internal user/agent answers the call to the time audio is heard at the exernal party.

i.e. the internal user/agent has to repeat their greetiting or wait a second or 2 before saying hello.

I am just unsure which call leg i should enable PRACK

Do you have early media enabled at CUBE or at ITSP side?
