Hi
I want to know if 2960SF family support old Cisco IP Phones, like 7940, 7912 and 7902, these phones use Inline Power (7.7 W). I was thinking in switch models like F48LPS-L and F24PS-L.
Thanks a lot for your answers.

Model | 10/100 Ethernet ports | Uplinks | IOS Feature Set | Available PoE Power | FlexStack Stacking |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Cisco Catalyst 2960S-F48FPS-L | 48 | 4 SFP | LAN Base | 740W | Optional |
Cisco Catalyst 2960S-F48LPS-L | 48 | 4 SFP | LAN Base | 370W | Optional |
Cisco Catalyst 2960S-F24PS-L | 24 | 2 SFP | LAN Base | 370W | Optional |
And see http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps12651/index.html
Yes the ports can supply 7.7 Watts as they can supply a max of 30W per port but the total is cumulative and will be subtracted from the switch total power budget.

Alex.
