Dear All,
can i integrate CUCM adn vcs using h.323? the deployment guide just state using SIP
i try to add vcs as h.323 in callmanager, and in vcs, i add cm as infrastructure. i can call to endpoint in vcs, but can not call from endpoint in vcs to ip phone in call manager.
any idea?
Thx,
Anju

The recommended way would be to use SIP.
However you can register a call manager to VCS using H323 as a H225 Gatekeeper Controlled trunk and use a prefix.
I would also check your route patterns, calling search spaces, etc on the UCM side

Hi Heathrw,
meet again :)
already done. i add it as h.323 gateway, but i change the signaling port to 1720 (default is 1719) to match the vcs configuration.
i haven't tried your suggestion on my other thread. i update later.
Thx,
Anju

Did you checked Inbound call section on H323 GW ? Is every thing there are correct ? CSS , Significant digits ?
Why H323 ? Why not SIP ? Any special reason behind it ?
Thanks
Manish

Does inbound call work ? Did you checked CSS on GW inbound call section?
Thanks
Manish
