Hi,
Recently, I have encountered one of the office having sometimes (intermittently) volume soft internal and external calls. What need to verify ?
CUCM 7.1 publisher and subscriber
All are using IP 7940 or IP 7960

Yes intermittent problem.
Whether is making outgoing call or receive call and even internal calls have such issue.

Hi,
I am assuming "One of the office" means, you have centralised CUCM deployment and one of the remote branch ( WAN ) is having problem.
If yes. Was there any connectivity problem link flapping whwn you encoured the issue.
Are you using SRST to minimise the WAN failure.

The issue is within the centralised CUCM. No SRST, WAN or link flapping related.

I have isolated the issue as follow
its on the incoming/outgoing calls issue. Would like to ask whether by adjusting the input gain found in the mgcp setting of the trunk helps ? If so,is there a standard input gain settings to be configured ? Is it 3dbm ?
