Internal IP Phone Conference Call issue.

Hi

We have CUCM version 8.6.2 on production.

We are facing issue with conference call within IP Phones.

All the IP phones are in same LAN and same Device Pool and same MRGL.

Once we try to add third call, call get disconnects with busy tone.

IP Phone Extensions  involved in conference call are.

IP Phone 3883 (initiate confierence)

IP Phone 3837

IP Phone 3815

All the phones are in same DP and MRGL.

Here I have attached MRG screenshot as well as CUCM SDI/SDL logs.

I have looked at the traces and I could see below. The initial leg gets connected fine but the issue is when the extensions are dialling the BIB to join the conference. Have a look at the below traces.

Further all the CI are getting disconnected one by due to to reource issue. Please check the Region setting between the phones and the resources and see if the Xcoder is required do you have it in the MRGL and test....

Hi Rajesh,

Are we using software conference brigde? SW bridge can only talk g711.

If inter region codec default settins is g711 , then all phones will talk by default g711. Howrver, if CFB is in different region, we need to talk to CFB using g729 and that won't work. In thid case make the CFB have same region as ip phones or configure regions between phone and bridge to use g711? Or if you want bridge to talk g729, then use an ios based CFB.
