Just trying to get my feet wet here.
I currently have:
With the following expansion cards
Am i able to set up a home VoIP system for my home business?
I have a POTS line with the number i will be useing.
I have a hand-full of Cisco 7960 IP phones.
I want to set up voice mail and a few extentions nothing crazy.
Where should i start? A good book to read that does not include a bunch of things i dont need to know for this setup?

Hi Adam,
To have a voip setup for your office I think you would need at least an FXO card to connect to the pots line of the outside world. The FXS port you have can be used to connect analog phones and FAX devices, but this would allow you only internal calling.
You would need to check the IOS release on the 3640 and see if it has the CME feature set. Im not sure if CME 4 or older used to run on the 3640.
Asumming you can get an IOS with CME support, you could register your IP phones and start from there.
The CVOICE course, book, material address H323 GW and CME which would be what you would be doing here.
