IP Communicator Error

When I go to corporate directory on my IP COM it shows "HTTP 404 page not found".

It works on desk phone, but not on IP phone.

Check the URL for the phone. If it cant access CUCM via DNS or IP address, you have an ACL problem.

Check with "debug tftp packets". Try with a SEP.xml file on the TFTP-Server.

Try using Wireshark to capture packets of the IP Comm.

It's an easy one. The device can not contact the URL of the CUCM service the corp directory. Either the IP Comm cant resolve the DNS name of the CUCM server or it does not have the IP address in it's profile for the corp directory, or they are behind a firewall using VPN coming into the network. Http request may not be allowed from that client to the cucm pub possibly.
