I have created a home Cisco lab and would like to branch my VoIP network out to softphones as well as physical IP phones.
The issue comes where I want to download the ip communicator software to implement but I can't download it from the Cisco website as I don't have a service contract as I only have a home lab. Is there a way that I can get a copy of this software?
If not are there any free softphone software that will work with CME on a 2811 router?
Legally, as you mention, you need to have purchased user licenses or a support contract to download it, you can always google and see if someone has posted it, otherwise, you can use alternatives like ip blue
