I have an IP Phone giving blank screen. I connected it to CME and did debug tftp events. The IP Phone looks for term06.default.loads file and does not continue after that.
Mar 1 02:38:13.501: TFTP: Looking for term06.default.loads
Mar 1 02:38:13.509: TFTP: Opened flash:term06.default.loads, fd 0, size 672 for process 277
Mar 1 02:38:13.637: TFTP: Finished flash:term06.default.loads, time 00:00:00 for process 277
Mar 1 02:38:14.437: TFTP: Looking for term06.default.loads
Mar 1 02:38:14.445: TFTP: Opened flash:term06.default.loads, fd 0, size 672 for process 277
Mar 1 02:38:14.577: TFTP: Finished flash:term06.default.loads, time 00:00:00 for process 277
Does any one has a soution?

Hi Mohamed
If all the Phones are fine and only this phone has a problem, then Most probably you need to RMA the phone.

Which version is the file taken from ? It may be an update gap too large for the phone to handle.
You should start with what the phone presumably had before becoming blank.
Also, you should try a nad reset default sequence.

I don't know the version that was on the IP Phone before it fail. I got the files on CME from both cmterm-7911_7906-sccp.8-5-4.zip and cmterm-7911_7906-sip.8-5-4.zip.
The reset to default I found (# during reboot then 123456789*0#) does not work for 7911.

Try some 7.x release.
Both reset sequences should work,

I recently had the same problem, ive written a post about it on my blog, i suggest anyone who is having the same problem, you try a earlier version as paolo said.

This should cover most things up.
