IP Phone 7940 series only dials Alpha Characters

Hello, 

For some reason my phone only dials alpha characters (so A,B,C when you type 2) instead of numbers. How do I switch this back? I cant find the right button in the users manual how to change this.

When you go off hook do you see a softkey labeled Number? If so press this key to toggle between number and URL dialing.
