Hi Sir,
I'm newly here in Cisco IP Telephony.
I just want to ask what is the best way to back-up my Cisco Devices.
Is there any free software to Back-up or Monitoring tools.
I did with copy running-config tftp. - just to back-up the running configuration.
Thank you for the help in advance.
Regards,
Michael

What software and version are you using?
If CUCM then use built in DRS and backup to SFTP server.

For IOS Based Gateways, you can use a TFTP server to backup your configuration. I would recommend using the archive command. http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/data-center/use-the-cisco-ios-archive-command-to-archive-your-routers-configuration/
This command will save a copy of your configuration on regular basis you can decide.
For CUCM you can use the DRS framework, that will save on daily basis a backup to a SFTP server.

Thank you Sir Robert for speedy reply.
To: Chris Deren,
I'm using ROM: System Bootstrap, Version 15.0(1r)M15, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

Michael,
So you are using just IOS Gateways? I would assume you have CME. If you got only routers to backup, TFTPd32 and archive command is your best friend
