Hi
Does any know how to make the cisco IP busy out/Off hook status for permanently.
When i tried the put the phone on off hook status it only stays off hook for about 10 to 20 seconds is there a way to override this.

What are you trying to achieve? If you dont want to get any calls - use call fwd all to voicemail or Do Not Disturb (DND) function or iDivert (if you want to selectively take calls and manually reject a call).
You can not just leave it off-hook and expect it to reject calls as per other traditional phones.

Hi Terry, thanks for your response
Customer wanting to have a huntgroup setup and the requirement is that when members in the huntgroup are logged into the hunt group but all are busy with paper work (not on the call) at the same time if a call comes into the Huntgroup the call should be queued and shall be answered when a member is available to answer huntgroup call.by the way we do not want to send the call to Voice Mail or any other numbers when no answered.

Native Call queueing option is available in hunt configuration starting with CUCM version 9.x which will suit your requirement.

However if you are running an older CUCM version, then you need to do a call looping so that hunting never stops until an user will be available to pick it from hunt group.
