Hi,
Help me to clarify some aspects regarding installing CME-SRST feature license.
C2951#sh license detail cme-srst
Feature: cme-srst Period left: 622 weeks 1 day
Index: 1 Feature: cme-srst Version: 1.0
License Type: Evaluation
License State: Active, In Use
Evaluation total period: 208 weeks 2 days
Evaluation period left: 205 weeks 3 days
Expiry date: Sep 17 2015 21:05:16
Lock type: Non Node locked
Vendor info:
License Addition: Additive
License Generation version: 0x8100000
License Count: 5000/100/0 (Active/In-use/Violation)
License Priority: Low
Store Index: 23
Store Name: Evaluation License Storage
I want to know if my supposition it's correct.
Period left: 622 weeks 1 day, means that CME-SRST feature license expire after 12 years, after that the costumer need to buy another cme-srst license.
Evaluation total period: 208 weeks 2 days, means that after 4 years the evaluation period of CME-SRST expire, after that the licence become permanent.
The link above say that evaluation period of cme-srst license should be 60 days not 4 years.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/access/sw_activation/SA_on_ISR.html#wp1155517
Expiry date: Sep 17 2015 21:05:16 , means time remaining until expiration of evaluation period (4 years).
License Count: 5000/100/0 (Active/In-use/Violation), means that number of CME-SRST license is 100.
Thanks.

Yes...I know it's an odd way to do it but the permanent license has an expriation. However, after 12 years the platform will most likely be EOL/EOS, but it could be renewed at that point if need be.

So let me get this straight; I don't order any permanent CME-SRST licensing, I simply accept the EULA and I have 12 years to run CME/SRST on an ISR-G2?
What is the command syntax to accept the EULA? I tried to do so the other day and it had no impact on the status of the licensing.
