Issues adding additional node to CUCM 8.5.1 cluster

I am adding an additional node to my CUCM 8.5.1 cluster and I am getting the following error:

Configuration validation with ag-ccm1 (10.200.1.4) failed.

Configured first node ag-ccm1 is not a first node.

I currently only have a 2 server cluster and I am certain ag-ccm1 is my publisher.

Any thoughts?  I new server I am adding is connected to a different switch than the publisher.  Would that matter?

Did you add the node you are adding to CUCM configuration? Is DNS working and did you point to DNS server during the install and add host for new CUCM server into the DNS?

Hi Chris,

Yes I did.  I also have the available license for the node.  DNS is also working.  I added the same DNS servers to the new node that the publisher is using.  I also created entries in DNS for the new node.
