Hi
I'm tryiing to use the redirect call setp in ivr. I want to call the VM pilot number and after the call is connected, send some digigts (xtension) of the person the a want to reach. I didn't want to patch the call trought the phone number of the person. I didn't want the phone to ring.
Heres is the different string that a try.
"81000,12345" 81000 VM pilot 12345 xt
The call connect to unity but the not send the xtension.
"*81000" Hi heared the digits send but the call is not making trought
"*81000,12345" Same result is above
Is it possible to connect the call and after send the xtension.

Hi,
Here is something else you could do.
If the DN of the user is 4001, you can create a CTI route point with DN 94001 (or *4001, or some other dummy number) In CTI RP line configuration check forward all to VM.
When IVR sends the call to 94001 it will go directly to 4001 VM box.
In VM add the dummy number as a alternate extension of the user.
If there are lots of users that require this you can use CTI DN that looks something like 940XX.

Just to add,
You can also create a new VM profile in CUCM which has its Voice Mail Box Mask set to XXXX and assign this to the CTI RP. This way when 94001 is sent to VM the 9 will be stripped and there will be no need for you to define alternate extensions.
