Jabber authentication via email rather than username

Hi Guys

We have just got our CCM IM Peresence 10.5 working with Cucm

Cucm is sync with ldap for authentication.

Jabber for windows works very well. Users can login to jabber with their ususername and password. What I would like to do is to have users to be aable to authenticate via email rather than username.

In ldap username is different than their email address.

Just wondering if someone could guide me enable that feature?

Hi,

We can accomplish this by mapping ldap fields to CUCM User fields.

Provide me the below:

1.) The ldap field where the email address resides

2.) The ldap field where the username resides

for example:

""The day is only soo long""
