Jabber MRA Call drop

Dear

When we call from Jabber client (MRA) to any PSTN number its just half ring and drop.

If we call internal extension or other Jabber client it work fine.

 

Kindly help its urgent.

OK pls quickly try this.. 

On your h323 gateway in CUCM enable out bound fast start. Ensure that you have mtp resource to do outbound fast start. Reset the gateway after enabling this and test again

There is no quick fix to issues like this without detail troubleshooting. 

What do you use for PSTN access? Sip?  ISDN? expressway issues are complex to troubleshoot.. We need to look at cucm logs , expwc logs, gateway logs..

We need some info from you in order to troubleshoot your issue.

CUCM Version

EXP C and E Version

Type of Voice gateway and Signaling protocol adopted.

 

 

That could be a starting point :)

Expressway C and E ver 8.2

Voice Gateway 2921 and Signaling protocol H323

As asked from my buddy Deji, we also need logs from you VG and CUCM to investigate further.

Please start to post your vg running config, a debug voip diapeer inout.

Hi Ayodeji Okanlawon ,

I also encounter this problem when using some Jabber client the call will drop after 2 rings, my Question is how should i check if i have a MTP resource on my Call manager? also just for a validation if i restart my Gateway is there any downtime would happen ?
