Jabber on iPhone ringing issue

Hi Fellows,

We have a setup for Jabber over MRA, expressway (Dual NIC Deployment) version 8.11.4 with CUCM/IM&Presence/Unity Connection version 11.5(1)SU8 with push notification configured, let's say a user has an iPhone Jabber and a desk IP phone with the same extension, when he receives a call both rings normally, but if he picks the call from the desk IP phone the Jabber on his mobile keep ringing although the call was already being picked from the IP Phone??

Jabber client version 12.9 with latest apple iOS 14

 

so anyone came across the same issue?

Have you verified the APN config and supported versions which was effective
in August. Recheck the advisory note from Cisco as your expressway version
seems unsupported. I don't recall seeing 8.11 in it but cross check.

Hi Mohammed,

I have double checked the versions and no issue with expressway 8.11 as it needs 8.10 minimum.

Also the push notification feature itself works fine and Jabber is a way better now after enabling the APN, my question is about the ringing issue.
