Kick original caller from call when new caller calls in

Hello,

I have a 3rd party speaker registered in my CUCM instance (v12.5) and I want to set the speaker up so that if an active SIP call is currently connected to the speaker and a new caller dials in to the same speaker the original caller is dropped and replaced with the new caller.

Is there a way to setup the speaker device configuration this way? If so, how do I accomplish this?

The only thing that comes to mind is a function named MLPP, but I’m not sure if that would accommodate what you ask for. MLPP is typically used to let calls destined to emergency numbers have priority over any other calls in a situation where all channels to PSTN are in use. Recommend you to read up on this and test it MLPP could be used in your situation.
