local Directory on CME v 12

Good day Experts

I have a small issue i have 40 users on a CME deployment i want the local users to be able to use the directory feature on the phones. In CUCM i know this is possible how can it be deployed on my CME. I am using SIP phones this is a 2019 deployment. I have loads of documents that a ancient can someone show me latest documentation on how to do it.

I have read all the old posts nothing is touching on this. 

I have AD in my enviroment is that help....with an answer someone wants to give me.

The CME admin guide contains a chapter on directory services, have you gone through it?
