MAC address

Hi,

I am trying to locate 2 assets (Cisco 7942 phones) but all I have are the serial numbers. I am not sure of the MAC address and am not sure where they are located as we have 3 entities at different place. Trying to clean up what was not properly tracked by previous manager.

I have called Cisco and gave the serial numbers but they said contract has finished and suggested I post here instead. Is it something possible for any Cisco engineers here to help me with my question?

Hi Syed,

we have an internal tool through which we can pull MAC when we enter Serial Number, but unfortunately the serial numbers that you provided dint return any data.

Going forward i would suggest you to contact your accounts team as you really don't require any contract to get that information.
