maximum capacity for BE6000

i am planing to deploy new 6000 IP phones for customer

- customer have existing 1 unit of BE6000M and 1 unit of BE6000H , can they re-used and cluster for support 6000 user/phones ,  if not for cucm server which one is suitable for support 6000 phones ?

From CUCM v11.x, for 2500 phones above and in your case, you will require BE7000 medium density server with CUCM 7500 profile according to Cisco's validated designs.

 

If you want HW HA as well then 2 qty of BE7000 servers with CUCM Publisher on Primary BE7000 and Subscriber on Secondary BE7000 server. You can also do combination of 

Publisher and Subscriber-1 on Primary BE7000 server

Subscriber-2 on Secondary BE7000 server.

 

Register phones on Subscriber's 1 and 2.

No, you cannot re-use them for a 6K phones cluster, the capacity of the 6K platforms is fixed.

 

I suggest you reach out to a reputable consultant or a Cisco partner WITH UC specializations for assistance with sizing and deployment.
