Maximum Number of Calls Issue

There were some IP Phone 7911 shared the same external number to PSTN and worked properly before.

After 7911 has been replaced by 6941, only 1 phone can dial out to PSTN at the same time, the others can't.

When the IT crew checked on the configuration between 7911 and 6941, they found 2 parameters are different.

 Maximum Number of CallsBusy Trigger
791111
694121

The "Maximum Number of Calls" and "Busy Trigger" of 6941 can't be modified, but 7911 can.

If they change those 2 parameters on 7911 as same as 6941. The result is the same.

Could anyone give me some hints to fix this problem?

Hi,

Please ensure that you are running cuc 8.6 or higher as per "Multiple Calls Per Line appearance" section of the following link

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cuipph/6921_6941_6961/8_6/english/admin_guide/6921AG/6921usr.html

Hello c1szhibin,

In addition to what Manish has stated, it looks like these phones are hitting bug CSCtq45335.

Shows a fixed release 9.2(1)SR1.

You can try upgrading the firmware, if your not already there.

It does state ,In CUCM 8.6 and later, configuring maximum number of calls to 3 under phone's line page can avoid this issue.

Hope this helps,
