Maximum speed for modem/fax on a VG224

Hi all,

We got a project with a customer who wants to connect a few modems / fax machines with a VG224.

What are the up an downs with this solution

(CCM 5.x -- SCCP -- VG224) ?

Can the VG224 provide a modem speed up to 56Kbbps?

No, as far as I'm aware, codec G711u, doesn't not supports modem or fax faster than 28.8.

If you want higher speeds, use FXS ports in the router.
