Hello experts,
We have some old MCS7825-H3 servers with 2GB RAM memory we need to upgrade to 4GB.
I was wondering if there is a particular way to perform the upgrade:
- Do we only need to power the server down and then install the modules?
- Is a particular slot assignation we need to take into consideration?
I can see that at this moment modules are installed in slots 1 and 3 (that's the original configuration).
Any suggestions or comments will be appreciated.
Thanks a lot!

Yes you just have to disconnect power, follow appropriate anti-ESD precuations, and install the memory.
The large sticker on the inside of the server's cover explains how memory should be installed.
