Hello,

I have one issue is that the CUCM Media resources are not registering, the media resource of the publisher server keeps getting unregistered -> rejected then registered, go back to unregistered after few seconds.

Publisher MTP and other resources status is NONE. I tried to restart the IPVMS on both servers, even restart the whole server (Publisher when it came up i restarted the subscriber) still the same issue. Any suggestion?

1. Check the IPVMS Service Parameters and make sure that Run Flag is True for each media resource

2. Generate Traces to see what is happening for the media resources

Good Day Mohammed,

I have the Parameters set to True, below is the trace i noticed a Db Config error, i checked the dbreplication status and all seems to be fine status (2):

This message is specific to Annunciator. What is the cucm version and how many servers are there in the cluster? Can you get the output of the following from all servers?

utils diagnose test

utils core active list

show hardware

show status

If all the services are up an running and a reboot has been tried then we need to check if something is wrong in the hardware or the file system. Also please let us know if this issue started after any recent changes.

Manish

Thanks for the reply Manish,

I have ran the above tests and i dont see any problems, attached the files.

Nothing have been changed, i was configuring Jabber MRA and i was testing the calls. The calls going through the voice gateway drop after the called party answer. I went to check the gateway configuration and saw the MTP checked, went to check the MTP Media resources and found it as i described before.

I can see issues with NTP ( stratum 10 ) which is not good, you need to get the NTP stratum within the recommended limit as it affects database replication. At this stage it may not look to be directly related to MTP's getting unregistered but do fix this to avois database related issues. Since you have already restarted servers I would suggest engaging TAC if the issue persists as it may require digging further in the database and media resource settings.

Manish

TAC is it then, thanks for your support

Hi,

I am having this issue also, did you get it it fixed? If so what was it?

Thanks,

Ian
