Hi,
I'm performing a migration from 5.1 to 8.6. Our customer has several MGCP gateways connected against the CCM. IOS from gateways are 12.4.
My question is, could we have problems between MGCP gateways and CCM 8.6 due an incompatibility between IOS version and CCM?

Hi,
Can you try a pots phone on the FXS port rather than the fax and prove if the issue
is to the port or the FAX

hi sorry forgot to mention i have plugged in a working cordless phone and stll have the same issue can receive a call but not even get a dial tone to make a call, get an engaged signal, feleted and recreated the mgcp pots point and reboot the router still to no avail, trace message ALSO ATTACHED
