Migrate CUCMBE5K to UCS

I have a customer running CUCMBE5K on a MCS server.  They are also running IPCC.

They want to upgrade to the latest 9.1 versions of CUCM, CUC, and UCCX and also move to a UCS server and add redundancy.  There is no clear documented path on this procedure.

As far as UCCX CUC, a manual rebuild or the COBRAS tool will do.

For CUCM, doing a manual rebuild is a lot more risk as I am not sure you can export any existing data other than phones.  Can anyone confirm this or have an alternate method?

Are any other licenses required to be ordered outside what the customer is entitled to with an ESW contract to move from BE5K to a VMWare environment with redundant CUCM and CUC servers?

Nope, CUCM only has BAT for this process.

If you haven't, review the drive to 9 material as there's a paper on 5K to 6K migration.
