Migrating users, device profiles etc [cucm]

Hi

I am migrating from a 7.x physical box to a 9.x VMware environment.

What would be the easiest way to get the users, devices and device profiles across

using the import/export and BAT we ran in too many errors

eg, export device profiles, import on new system -> error end user does not exist

users, export users, insert users using BAT -> errord DP does not exist

thanks in advance for any tips

Unless you upgrade your servers to 9.X to then do a backup or export the data with BAT, you're pretty much left with two options:

Either you configure manually all the phones

You use BAT and massage the data as necessary, so it's compliant with 9.X

No tools to do this.

Adding them manually is always an option

thing is I am using BAT and if I start "manipulating" the file then I end up with fields to be filled in manually anyway

or would this work like in the example above:

insert the users (will insert them but some fields are missing because non exisiting at that stage)

insert the device profiles

insert the users again with the override option
