I am migrating from callmanager 4.2(3) onto new platforms and CUCM 8.0

I want to get all the data not just users but translation patterns etc.

I was thinking of DMA but I understand I can only import up to 7.1x due to direct upgrade limitation

Is that correct?

would a workaround be going to 7.1x import data and then upgrade to 8 ?

As I need to do this on a cluster. I am assuming I only need to go to 7 on the pub, import data, go to 8 and then  for the Subs just go straight to 8

You are most correct my friend There is no DMA for 4.x to 8.x as you nicely noted.

You can use the DMA to take the Pub to 7.1(x) as an interim step and then upgrade the

Pub to 8.x and do the Subscriber upgrade at this point. This way you do get all the required

config info.

Hi there -

Have you looked at Variphy?  They can help export configuration information in CSV format. You can take the information and place it into your BAT for upload into your new UCM.  You can designate what information you want in CSV...
