missed call on ip phone 7931

Hi all,

I use ip phone 7931, but i can´t find button to check missed calls, directores etc etc!! all buttons from rigth side are not available. in attachment one pic.

can you help me to know how can see the missed call, received call etc etc?

What do you mean that "buttons from right side are not available"?

I believe the default is the second button from the top (button 23). You can change which button activates the directories function by creating a new phone button template in CUCM and applying to the phone.

thanks for your answer. in attachment the 2 pics for you to see the rigth buttons. I already read the user manual, but I cant find which button i have to choose.

Looks like the 7931 on CME has two fixed button layouts. Layout 2 includes the directories option on button 22.

To select a fixed-button layout for a Cisco Unified IP Phone 7931G, perform the following steps.

Prerequisites

Cisco Unified CME 4.0(2) or a later version.

SUMMARY STEPS

1. enable

2. configure terminal

3. ephone template template-tag

4. button-layout set phone-type [ 1 | 2 ]

5. exit

6. ephone phone-tag

7. ephone-template template-tag

8. end

DETAILED STEPS

Router> enable

Enables privileged EXEC mode.

  • Enter your password if prompted.

Step 2

configure terminal

Enters global configuration mode.

Enters ephone-template configuration mode to create an ephone template.

Specifies which fixed set of feature buttons appears on a Cisco Unified IP Phone 7931G that uses a template in which this is configured.

  • 1 —Includes two predefined feature buttons: button 24 is Menu and button 23 is Headset.
  • 2 —Includes four predefined feature buttons: button 24 is Menu; button 23 is Headset; button 22 is Directories; and button 21 is Messages.

Step 5
