Mixed mode : encryption possibilitie

Hello everyone,

I am about to pass to non-secure to mixed mode.

I read several procedure and it doesn't seem to be to hard to switch in mixed-mode.

I would like to know what are the possibilities for encryption ?

I read it is possible to encrypt TFTP transfer file, and most of all SIG+RTP.

I would like to know if we can choose to encrypt only RTP and not the SIG ?

Thank you for your answers !

Best regards,

Irwin

No, that would be like you asking to send secret information in a transparent envelope, how secure would that be??

Transport layer security includes TLS and IPSec for signaling authentication and encryption to control and prevent access to the voice domain. SRTP adds media authentication and encryption to secure privacy and confidentiality for voice conversation and other media.

If you haven't go through the CUCM security guide.
