Hello all,
CallManager 8.5.1
Gateways are both MGCP and h323
What I'm trying to do is pass correct caller id to specific remote destinations, but the main number to all other off-net calls.
So I have a remote destination with the number 915555555555 which should get the caller id forwarded, but all other 91XXXXXXXXXX should only get the main number.
I've already tested and the telco has no screening on the PRIs so I can send any CID I want. The only way I've been able to get this to work is with overlaping route patterns. By setting the Calling Party Transform Mask to a static number on the wildcard patterns and set Use Calling Party's External Phone Number Mask on the spicific 915555555555 route pattern everything looks like it works. But overlaping routes is not best practice.
Any better ideas?
Thanks

use transformation patterns, and control it via CSS on RDP devices.

That is awesome. I knew there was an easy way just didn't see it yet.
Thanks
