Hi,
I have a working setup with CME8, BLF fields are setup and working fine, except the fact that BLF cannot differentiate between ring and talk states of the monitored DN. In both cases the BLF indicator is red, the little icon shows "off hook" state. This is quite annoying as there is no way to know if that phone is ringing or in use.
I read about BLF Pickup functionality which seems to support exactly that but it seems to be limited to CUCM only.
Is there a way to make the BLF lamp blink amber when the associated phone / dn is ringing within CME?
Thanks!

Are you using "m" as button config ?

Hi,
Actually we use blf-speed-dial because it is the only one which can also monitor DnD status of the phone.
w - does not show at all when phone rings - only when it is really off hook
m - does show ring but in the same manner as if it would be off hook (red button, off hook icon)
blf-speed-dial - is like m, but also shows DnD state
blf-speed-dial device is basically like m
The relevant config is:
presence
presence call-list
max-subscription 64
watcher all

Hi,
Just wanted to check if you have managed to find out a workaround.
My problem is we have 7916-24 Module on 7975 Phone. The operator should know before forwarding the calls if the destination phone is busy or free, now the operator is forwarding the calls to the phones and few of the managers are getting irritated with this, they want the operator to know if they are busy OR free..??? any comments plzz
