Multi Domain DHCP Server and CUCM

Hi Team,

Please find the below scenario and issue as well,

CUCM Version : 8.6.2a under Domain aaa.com

Location A IP phones getting IP Address from DHCP server under domain aaa.com and everything works fine.

Location B IP phones getting IP Address from another DHCP server under different domain bbb.com and having issue with Corporate Directory "Host Not Found" issue.

Please advice.

Seems like scope B points to different DNS which is unable to resolve hostname of the CUCM server. Couple of ways to fix it:

1. Add the servers to bbb.com domain DNS

2. Change the enterprise parameters in CUCM to point to IP address of the CUCM server rather than hostnames.

Please find the answer on the below points,

1. Add the servers to bbb.com domain DNS

CUCM is already part of domain aaa.com, so we cannot add to the bbb.com

2. Change the enterprise parameters in CUCM to point to IP address of the CUCM server rather than hostnames.
