Multiple PVDM3-256 Installed Calculations

Hi All,

Would just like to validate if we have multiple PVDM installed on the Voice Gateway, are the resources will be also doubled? Ex. PVDM3-256 has a total of 256 channels lets say for low-complexity codec such as G711. If we have 2 PVDM3-256 installed, the available channels for low-complexity codec should be doubled and it will be 512 channels? and how about for the conference, transcoder and mtp.

For the conferencing in 1x PVDM3-256 it says it can support up to 6 conferences with 64 participants in each conference or up to 66 conferences with 8 participants in each conference. What if we have 2x PVDM3-256 installed what would be the total for conference resource? Thank you

Yes you will get 512 channels. You can look at the dsp calculator below to
get the counts for your combinations.
