I have a customer running CUCME 10.5 on a 2901 router with 7861 IP Phones as admin phones receiving voicemails from the general mailbox in CUE. The 7861 phones do not have a display for each line, so the customer cannnot see if the voicemail MWI light is for their personal line DN1 or the general mailbox line DN 2. I tried configuring "mwi stutter" in the voice register global config, but the stutter dial tone does not seem to work on any phone on any line. The MWI light works, but not the stutter dial tone. I have tried this at the customer site on the 2901 running c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.155-2.T1 IOS "CUCME 10.5" with SIP 78xx.10-3-1-12 firmware on the 7861 phones. I have also tested this in my junk lab on a 2811 running c2800nm-spservicesk9-mz.124-15.T10.bin "CUCME 8.6" with CIPC, a 7960 running SCCP and a 7961 running SIP41.9-4-2SR1-1S. Once again, the MWI light works fine, but the stutter dial tone never works. Is this a bug or am I missing something. See attached config snippets.
