hi,
Can you help me, Im new with VOIP. Need our help to choose an equipment that can convert h.323 to SIP (or vice versa) and do transcoding and can support 3000 concurrent calls? I need an IP-to-IP Gateway equipment.
Don't know what device and module to use for this.
Thanks in advance!

Yes, the purpose of CUBE is to convert signaling formats.
In your case you need to bridge SIP to H323 and the other way around
If there are not TDM interfaces and you don't need XCODER or MTP there should be no need for DSPs.

Thta's 300 Kpps, to be on the safe side I would use a 3925E.

There are many factors involved in choosing the right equipment.
I'll assume the worst case scenario and those 3K calls will need XCODER.
That would be 3 X 3945E (1200 CUBE + XCODE each)

Hi,
We have decided to use one 3945E that can support 2500 calls. And now we just need to convert H.323 to SIP (and vice versa), do i still need a CUBE for this? And do I need PVDM modules?
Thanks,
Rachelle
