We're putting out new Cisco 8811 phones and only rolled out about 10 of them so far. Not long after those people that got the phones begin receiving spam email (I'm sure there's malware attached to the various links embedded). All of the spam though, have in someway Forbes or Fortune associated with them and are medical related. I do work for a Radiology company so that their medical related doesn't surprise me.
Looking for any insight to the phenomenon. I doubt it's physically related to the phone, but I'm curious if this has happened to others.
Oh and... naturally the domains associated with these emails I started receiving are odd.
