No Dial Tones

Hi,

I am installing a fresh CME 8.6. I have registered the IP Phones and the phone got its DN. But when I pick up the cradle to make a call no "DIAL TONE" is heard. So I am not able to make a call. There is no PSTN connection to this CME as of now. I am not able to call in between the phones registered to the CME. The phones which I am using is 7945 and 7911. Both are facing the same problem.

does setting the cptone command have any effect on hearing dial-tone?

Post the config or all we can do is make guesses as Marcus is doing.

Thank you for the valuable suggestions. I have solved this myself. I did a lot of guess working. At first I thought it would be some error with the CME file which I had uploaded. So I deleted and uploaded 2 different versions. It didnt work.

In the given Scope of Work, in the ephone configuration I was asked to assign  button as button 1m2 (for some monitoring purpose) then I changed and assigned in the general fashion of button 1:2. Then suddenly it started working fine. Now I have changed it for all the ephones and all are working charmingly.
