Hi all,
I have seen a very weird problem with a 2811 Voice GW.
I am not able to configure VoIP dial-peer. It's giving just POTS options like below.
DHL-VG-TH(config)#dial-peer voice 1 ?
pots Telephony
<cr>
DHL-VG-TH(config)#dial-peer voice 1
I have attached the configurations and running on Voice IOS.
c2800nm-ipvoice-mz.124-4.t1.bin
Any advice?
Regards...
Ashok.

You have a Dial-peer 1 already
dial-peer voice 1 pots
once a dial-peer is added as pots or voip you can not change it.
You will have to remove it or use another dial-peer number such as 10
Thanks

Hi,
Your diags shows that there is a lack of any DSP chips
Without the DSP you can not use VOIP
For 2 FXS ports you need a min of PVDM2-8

Hi,
This is probably due to the IOS versions
Your 2811 is using 12.4.4T1 this has been retired by Cisco.
Not sure abot your other gateway.
Still think you need the DSP for VOIP working

Alex

You have a Dial-peer 1 already

You will have to remove it or use another dial-peer number such as 10
