Hi,

We are having MGCP gateway controlled by ccm 4.1(3). when user calls to the pstn via this gateway call is getting connected but both the parties are not able to hear anything.

I had checked the mgcp bind control and media commands and also the route. Still it is not working.

Please let me know if anyone had faced this issue.

This sounds like a routing issue between the IP phone and the MGCP gateway. Are you able to verify IP connectivity between these two devices?

Krishna,

On your VG, do a "show call active voice" while a call is connected. Verify the "RemoteMediaIPAddress" under the "VOIP" section is the IP address of the IP Phone.

Similarly, browse to the Phone's IP in your web browser and press "Stream 1" on the left side of the screen. Verify that the "Remote Address" is the IP address of the MGCP gateway.
