Not allowing me to perform the factory reset on 7940

Dear Voice Expert,

Let me explain the issue. The phone is configured in the call manager and in VLAN it is up but still it shows as unknow.

 

i tried performing factory for 7940 phone.

  1. Unplug the power cable from the phone, hold down the # key, and then plug the power cable in again. The phone begins its power up cycle.
  2. Release the # key after the Speaker button is no longer lit. You should see the following message on the phone: "Reset key sequence detected
  3. Press 123456789*0#
  4. Its not going after this step. please help on this ASAP..................

Does the show obtain proper IP address, and TFTP server address?

Can you browse the IP address of the phone and view its configuration from there?
