not receiving 911 phone alerts from CER

Hi All

Thanks in advance !!

We have come up with a very new and unique issue in our environment wherein we are not recieving any 911 phone alerts from CER. CER is not delivering calls to Onsite Alert Contacts.

In one of our site, we have a number xx911 (which is further assigned to a hunt list having two numbers) and when we manually dial it for testing purpose it works, but when someone actually dials 911, CER never appears to dial the designated alerting number of xx911 on its’ own.

I tried to find about the issue but couldnt find it, also there is nothing that i found in 10.5 admin guide. Rebooting also didnt help much. So could someone please tell me what could be the issue and how to rectify it ?

Review the CER logs, they are very easy to follow and should point you to the direction. Also, make sure that the ERL that was used for the "production call" (you can find out which one it was under call history in CER) actually has a proper onsite alert assigned to it, and that that onsite DN is in partition reachable from the CER CTI ports' CSS.
